Main Ingredients

  • Pork Ribs: 1.1 lb
  • Apple: 2 medium apples
  • Sweet Corn: 1 ear
  • Onion: 1 large onion

Seasonings

  • Fine Chili Powder: 2 tbsp
  • Brown Sugar: 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Crushed Black Pepper: 1/2 tsp
  • Salt: 2 tsp
  • Light Soy Sauce: 2 tbsp
  • Apple Cider Vinegar: 1 1/2 tbsp

Cookware: 10-inch Deep Round Plate

Instructions

  1. Cut the pork ribs into sections about 3 inches long. Soak them in enough water to cover, with 2 tsp of salt, for 10 minutes. Rinse well and drain. Cut 1/2 apple into pieces about 1 × 3 inches. Cut the sweet corn into 3-inch sections, then quarter each section lengthwise.
  2. Roughly chop 1 large onion and 1 apple (peeled and cored), then blend them in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Place the pork ribs in a large dish. Add the blended apple and onion mixture, then add the fine chili powder, brown sugar, crushed black pepper, 1/3 tsp salt, light soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Toss well and marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the ribs from the marinade and arrange them in a 10-inch deep round plate. Spread the remaining marinade evenly over the ribs. Arrange the apple pieces around the ribs and place the corn pieces in the center.
  5. Place the plate in the oven and select "American Apple Roasted Ribs" once the recipe is recognized. Start cooking.
  6. Once cooking is complete, remove from the oven and serve.
